RANDY-MASTER 100386 10/03/86
P81
Current packet terminal program that I run.
Called by "RUN P81" It has file capture and file send, etc and
commands are found by HELP key. This program has 2 modes, toggled by
F5 key. MON ON groups packets from stations (trashes the call lines)
and run with Kantronics TNC. It looks for lines from TNC like:
WB3KRN>N3ET,K3RLI,KB3ZW-1,KB3UD-1:
Hello there how are you ... etc.
Kantronics KPC-1 has command "HEADER ON" which separates call from
message text. Other mode is MON OFF (via F5 key) which does normal
packet.
P81.ASM - ASMB source file for above.
P5D and P5D.C are C language versions of above.

P1027
P1027, by Randy Lilly - N3ET, is an update to P81. It is a compact terminal
program that multitasks well. The BBS function is disabled. There are no
menus, and the sizing gadget disappears. I use this program on packet
because of its size, and small CPU cycle load, but mostly because of the way
it handshakes with my PK-232. Starterm constanly overwrote my TNC's buffer,
but P1027 waits for the buffer to empty before sending more data. P1027 is
wonderful for sending large files. Many thanks Randy !
Randy's address appears elsewhere on this disk.
